What was the highlight of Mercure Paris Velizy
Good for the price
The location was central. Despite the building work in front of the hotel. It was easy to find and navigate from. The staff were friendly and helpful and overall we were happy with our stay. For what we paid, we stayed for 2 nights and slept well both nights. The hotel reception and sitting areas were very nice and comfortable.
The rooms were tired and in the bathroom the plugs stuck, and the enamel on the bath was chipped and sharp, also the water didn't get any more than Luke warm on one night, it was better on the second night.

What was the highlight of Mercure Paris Velizy
Very Good
We really just needed somewhere to rest our heads en route home. Arrived late, left early, so can't really comment on facilities. But it was clean, staff welcoming and there was a KFC very close, which was a lifesaver as we were late and hadn't been able to have food anywhere.
System was down, so check in took longer than I expected.

Staff were friendly, nice bar and restaurant, room was spacious, bed was comfortable. Good parking on site.
Bathroom was a little outdated and the location of the hotel was not so easily accessible for public transport.

Overall, I would say a good hotel and 2 stars lost due to reasons I shared. I would still recommend
Likes: * Location is excellent and with easy reach of Trams into Central Paris. * Plenty of parking (also has underground parking) * Staff are excellent and very willing to help and make your stay comfortable. * Swimming pool though smallish was excellent. * room with 2 double beds was of good size. Has a fridge, tv etc. * Located 5 mins walk from Westfield Shopping Mall. EXCELLENT.
Dislikes: * Hotel and Rooms are tired and in need of refreshing. To be fair the manager did say Novotel did have this hotel on list to be renovated by end of 2025. * Bathroom was disappointing but as said needs refreshing. * House Keeping was probably worst I have seen. 6pm and still room not been cleaned/made-up. Cleaning Staff just ignored our request and said we usually don't clean rooms on Sundays. REALLY, your a hotel. Why should Sunday make a difference.
